The Earliest Cover Concept

This was a mock up I put together to illustrate an idea for the designer. The symbol at the heart of this concept holds the meaning of Mass Extinction. This is a symbol that has been given to the public domain for unregulated display, barring commercial exploitation. It was an early idea, though I did not pursue discovery of whether it could be used with acknowledgement to the author and its meaning.

More than it being an “X”, it is an hourglass inside the circle, which represents the Earth.
